This morning, we played the game called Centipede. Three things I like about this game is how difficult it is, the level progression, and how the spiders are somewhat more annoying than the incoming centipede. Something I would change about the game is the speed of both the centipede and spiders.
With rapidly improving technology, we can continue evolving video games with better mechanics, FPS, graphics, sound, and etc.. Some demonstrations of this improving technology can be shown in the video such as the use of motion-control games, virtual bubble wrap, and virtual reality games.
Source An addictive game that has a high score system that I've played a lot was Flappy Bird. I have played for long periods of time but never gotten the high core. The game is pretty challenging with dodging pipes so it is difficult to really get the high score of 999.
This morning, we watched a video based on video game development on how video games are created and developed through technology. Three interesting facts on this is first, how 54% of the people in the video game community are males while 46% are females. Second is how 1.2 billion people are playing video games worldwide and third, is how students and faculty there blend computer science, art, math, education, and design to create innovative games.
Source This is my Emoji #2 Gif Blog project. The stuff we had to do for this project was to create an emoji of a celebrity and I chose LeBron James. What we had to do was create many separate layers to create the many features of the emoji as such as the head, mouth, nose, eyes, arms, etc.. We also had to animate some part of the image and I chose to make the basketball to move up and down. So it came out pretty well in my opinion.
This is the project I've been working on in this class. The creation I have made was based on the Sun rising up. It took sixteen frames for this to work. I am fine with the overall results although I could've done better if I tried.
We are learning a lot of things in this class. We learned how to crop images. We learned how to select images. We learned how to remove images. Finally, we learned how to fix images such as red-eye.
I'm taking this class because I liked art and want to learn how to Photoshop images. I expect to learn many tools to photo-shopping so it'll be interesting for awhile.
